I read somewhere when I was doing some research on Southport that there was as many as 60 churches in the town and surrounding area.

Below is a list of 50 working churches that I have found and will be visiting each one, eventually I hope to upoad a photo and find out some history of each church.

Along the way I have found that some old churches have been closed and have either been converted into something else or demolished completely.

These will be listed at the bottom along with any relevant information.
